Frequently Asked Questions: Delivery Edition



When does mail arrive?


The one consistency with mail arrival is the inconsistency of when it arrives. Upon arrival, it is sorted and separated, then at 3:30 pm, an MX Associate delivers the mail to your office. This happens daily, office deliveries will be completed by 4:30 pm. If mail comes in after 4:30 pm, the mail will be delivered the following day. 


Do I need to pick up my mail?


Our team at Werqwise will deliver your mail daily starting at 3:30 pm. If it is before 3:30 pm please feel free to check if anything has arrived or just send a help desk message and we can inform you when your mail arrives.



Do I need to pick up my packages/parcels?


When packages arrive, they are immediately scanned by an MX Associate. This will automatically send you a message, through the Envoy app, informing you that your package has arrived. Please come down and grab your package. Our MX team will try to get it to you at our earliest convenience, but oftentimes it is faster if you come to pick it up at 4th-floor reception. 


As soon as you have received your package, please mark off on your notification email from Envoy that you picked it up. You will keep receiving notifications reminding you that you have a package if you do not. Let us know if you have any questions regarding this or anything else concerning package delivery.



How do I know if I received a package/parcel?


Every package/parcel that is delivered is immediately scanned and checked in by a MX Associate through the Envoy app. This will automatically send you a notification letting you know your package is ready to be picked up. Please let us know if you are going to be out of office for an extended period and we will gladly drop your packages off in your office. 


Is there a way to get notifications sent to my assistant or someone at the office?


Yes, we can do this using Envoy nicknames. When Deliveries (Envoy) reads each shipping label, it’s looking for names that appear in your Envoy Directory. When you assign nicknames, Envoy looks for these nicknames too. It then determines which employee the nickname is synonymous with, and sends the delivery notification to the proper recipient.


How large of packages/parcels can I ship?


If you intend on having large packages come in (over 25 pounds) please advise the MX team and they can get a cart/dolly ready for you to use for drop off. Anything less we have no problem dropping off in your office at our earliest convenience. 


If shipping large items such as furniture, please let someone know at the front desk and we can help the delivery team gain access to your office upon your approval. 


Can I ship packages through the front desk?


We are able to have delivery companies pick up packages if they are properly tagged by the sender. There are no specific times that packages are picked up. If it is something that needs to be immediately shipped, we suggest walking a few blocks down the street to the UPS drop off location at 268 Bush St. between Montgomery and Sansome Streets.

*For outgoing packages, we will hand it to the designated courier, but if they refuse to take it due to the fact that it is not listed in their system, we cannot force them to take it. We are not responsible to force a courier to take the package, but we will inform you if this happens. In this instance, we suggest that you contact the courier for updates on pick up time and date.*

Unfortunately, we are not able to schedule pickups or update pick up times/days for members as we do not have access to their Fedex/UPS accounts.

How do I forward my mail/parcels?


In special circumstances, we may be able to help accommodate your mail forwarding needs. In the event that you cannot receive your delivered parcel at Werqwise, we suggest that you contact your courier to see if the package can be forwarded to a different address where you can retrieve it. The most effective forwarding process through Werqwise is by having an MX (member experience)  team associate forward the package to where you need it to go. After you sort out the new shipping details with your courier, you can email the MX team atmx@werqwise.com. Please provide us with the dimensions of the parcel and the new shipping label so that we can tape it to the parcel and send it with the courier of your choice.


USPS Mail: If you're only relocating for a short time, submit a temporary change-of-address request through USPS so you can receive your mail while you're away for 15 days up to 1 year. FedEx/USPS/UPS says my shipment was delivered, where is it?


If we have received your shipment at the reception desk, you will receive a notification from the Envoy app that indicates that the package has been delivered to the front desk in the 4th-floor lobby along with a photo of the package/post. 


Sometimes the courier will send a notification of delivery before reception receives it, in which case, it has not been received by reception as of yet or it has been dropped off in the lobby on the 1st floor. If you have not received the Envoy notification, it simply indicates that we have not received the package at the front desk. If you have any questions regarding your shipment, please reach out to the MX team by writing a help desk request, email,  by phone, or just stop by the front desk to ask how the MX team can assist you. Also, be sure to check your office to make sure that the package hasn’t been delivered already.


I received an Envoy notification about a delivered package, but it’s not at the front desk. What should I do?


Be sure to check what type of notification was received from Envoy. This usually happens because the Envoy notification is a ‘reminder’ from a package that was already picked up. Be sure to check the date and to mark the package as picked up so that you no longer receive old notifications. 


I’m out of the office for a week/month, will my mail still be delivered?


Of course! Your mail will still be dropped off in your office daily and can be picked up whenever you get back. Please let us know if you would like your mail shipped anywhere else during your time away from the office. 


I received a package at Werqwise, but I’m no longer a member. How can I retrieve my package?


Not a problem! If we receive your package, an MX associate will reach out via email to find out where we should forward it to. If we do not receive a response from you within one week, we will send it back to the original courier as a return. You can also come to pick up the package during normal operating hours if you prefer.
